Our students from Ballroom Royal Dance Academy recently participated in the prestigious Southeastern DanceSport Championships in Atlanta, and it was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

For many of our young dancers, this was their very first dance competition, making the event especially exciting. Despite the nerves and the big stage, our students showed incredible courage, focus, and love for dance as they stepped onto the competition floor. We are extremely proud of our dancers and thrilled to share that many of them achieved outstanding results, winning multiple medals, top placements, and special awards across different categories. Their dedication, discipline, and hard work truly paid off.

Competitions like the Southeastern DanceSport Championships give young dancers an opportunity to grow, gain confidence, and experience the excitement of performing in front of judges and audiences. It is also a wonderful moment for our dancers to support each other and celebrate their achievements as a team.

The Head Coach and Founder of Royal Dance Academy, Oleksandra Tsylina, was honored to be invited as a judge at the prestigious Southeastern DanceSport Championships in Atlanta.

Being selected as a judge at such a respected international dance competition is a recognition of Oleksandra Tsylina’s professional expertise, extensive experience, and significant contribution to the development of ballroom dance.

As an international-level adjudicator and accomplished dance coach, Oleksandra was invited by the organizers of the Southeastern DanceSport Championships to evaluate performances of dancers from various studios and competitive levels.

Judging at major competitions requires a deep understanding of technique, artistry, and the highest standards of DanceSport. Oleksandra’s role as a judge highlights her reputation as a respected expert within the international ballroom dance community.

At the same event, students from Ballroom Royal Dance Academy also successfully completed, demonstrating strong preparation and achieving excellent results, including multiple medals and top placements.

Royal Dance Academy continues to contribute to the development of ballroom dance through high-level coaching, competitive achievements, and professional participation in major DanceSport events.

The MAC DanceSport Competition is a well-known event held under the auspices of USA Dance, the official governing body for DanceSport in the United States. Adjudicators are selected based on their professional reputation, competitive experience, and recognized expertise in the field.

Oleksandra Tsylina’s invitation to judge this competition reflects her recognized authority and expertise in ballroom dance, as well as her continued contribution to the development of DanceSport through coaching and professional adjudication.

This weekend our young dancers took part in the Hotlanta Dancesport Competition, one of the most exciting ballroom dance events in Georgia!

We are so proud of our students who showed incredible performances and brought home many awards, medals, and first-place ribbons. Their bright smiles and shining eyes were the best reward of all!

Competitions like Hotlanta inspire our dancers to work harder, dream bigger, and keep growing with every step. For many of them, this event was a chance to experience the magic of the ballroom, to perform on a big stage, and to feel the joy of achievement.

At Royal Dance Academy, we believe that every competition is not only about winning, but also about learning, teamwork, and confidence. Watching our students celebrate their success reminds us why we love what we do — helping children discover their talent and passion for dance.

The masterclass with Sasha Kalenyuk went wonderfully.

It was an inspiring and energetic event where participants had the opportunity to learn from one of the best in the field. Sasha shared valuable techniques, practical tips, and personal insights from his professional journey. The atmosphere was warm and encouraging, and everyone left not only with new skills but also with a renewed passion for dance.

The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive — many highlighted Sasha’s ability to explain complex movements clearly, adapt to different skill levels, and keep the class engaging from start to finish. It was truly a memorable experience that left dancers motivated and eager for the next session.

At the Florida State Open, our dancers once again delivered a strong performance, earning top placements and demonstrating the values Royal Dance Academy stands for — confidence, elegance, and excellence. We are proud of every student who took the floor and gave it their all.

Competing with grace and confidence, they brought home a collection of medals and trophies, proving that excellence is no accident – it’s the result of discipline, passion, and great coaching.

In October 2024, our Florida studio proudly represented Royal Dance Academy at the prestigious Naples Star Ball — and brought home the title of Top Youth Studio!
